Very quickly, the major brands in the sector, Atari, Commodore, Activision and many others, sought to develop the market and impose their brand through television advertising.
One thing that struck me while watching this video is how much, at the time, the human as a player was present in the ad. Advertisers at the time, not having incredible images of the game (as is the case today), probably had no choice but to put people in the situation playing... something that is no longer done at all today where we prefer to focus on gameplay or cinematics.
Finally, all these videos are in English and the quality is very average, but it must be said that they were recovered from VHS... In short, a great compilation that should please nostalgic people or allow the youngest to discover a mythical (and fortunately outdated) era.
