Warning, big drop in productivity ahead!
The teams ofInternet Archive, already at the origin of the brilliant WayBack Machine which allows you to see the appearance of a website at different times in its existence, have just launched a new nugget entitled internet arcade.
internet arcade is a library of arcade games from the 1970s to the 1990s that can be played directly in your internet browser using a JavaScript emulator.
The 903 retro games available at the time of writing are of all styles: from old black & white games that are very simplistic in terms of both sound and image to more advanced games containing digital images, music and sounds.
To begin, you will need to select a game and you will be directed to the game's page. Click on the image that appears to load the game. All you have to do is insert as many virtual (and free) credits into the arcade machine and choose the number of players... and off you go!
As a little extra, for each game, you will even have a short commentary describing the game, its release date, its publisher... in short, lots of information to shine in society!
