There are a number of tools available on the Internet for creating graphs, but not all of them are equal in terms of quality and customization options. Although I mostly use Excel to generate curves or graphs, I recently came across a free and pretty well-designed online tool called Charts Factory.
This tool allows you to create all kinds of graphs online: diagram, curves, pie or doughnut graphs, funnel or pyramid… Very easy to use, this site does not require any account creation. You just have to enter your data manually and you can then customize your graph before sharing its link or downloading it as an image (in PNG format).
Of course, this tool is suitable for graphs that require only a small amount of data. Creating a curve with a hundred points can be tedious because you have to enter them one by one. There is no possibility of importing data from Excel or a CSV file.
But one of the strong points of Charts Factory is its customization options. The tool allows you to apply different color themes to change the appearance of your chart. In addition, it is possible and very easy to change the type of chart at any time, as well as modify the different fields, values, and colors in just a few clicks.
As you will have understood, the interest of such a site is to allow you to create simple but elegant graphics to enhance your documents and presentations... but also to allow you to share graphics online that can illustrate your comments in your exchanges on social networks or on forums.
At this stage, Charts Factory is still under development and its creator plans to add new features in the future.
