Whether it's for your job, your website or even to play a joke on friends, you sometimes need photos representing a very specific scene. The first reflex will be to search the web to find what you are looking for... and most of the time, if you find something it will be available on an image bank (paid or free) like PixaBay, Pexels or other.
But most of the time, the photo doesn't exactly match your need... well, yes, it's hard to find a flying cow grazing on a plate of spaghetti!
But I may have the solution thanks to the site Icons8.
Create a custom photo with Icons8
Icons8 is a free website that will allow you to create your own photo (worthy of stock photos) by assembling different elements: characters, background, objects... and it is even possible to add text.

From there, the possibilities are almost endless… and if you can't find the items you're interested in, you can request them to be added.
In addition, you can freely choose the format of your photo and there are several standard dimensions that will save you time: 16:9, 4:3, Facebook cover, Instagram Story… iPhone wallpaper…

Once you are satisfied with your masterpiece, you will of course be able to export your photo. The tool offers you two export options: a PSD format which will keep the different layers and which you will be able to use on Photoshop and a PNG format that you will be able to exploit directly.
At this stage, the amount of elements that can be added is not very exhaustive but it is very likely that the database will be enriched very regularly. We will also regret the impossibility of adding your own wallpaper and the fact that the elements cannot be rotated.
In short, Icons8 is both practical and fun but it would deserve a few additional features to become absolutely indispensable! To be continued!
