Updated March 2019: Mfile is now called Folio.ink. Links have been updated in the article.
You may have already needed to show photos remotely to friends… for example, during a personal or professional event, you were in charge of taking the photos for everyone. You can then share these photos by email as an attachment if their size allows it, via large file sharing tools or by creating an online gallery.
There are several online tools for creating photo galleries, managing access, sharing everything… but I only know one that focuses on simplicity and speed. It is MFile.
To use MFile, no need to create an account, no need to download any software, just upload or drag your photos to this website.
Once your photos are uploaded, you will get a link, which will allow you to share your gallery with anyone you send the link to.
Another link is also provided to allow you to edit your gallery (and delete it) at any time.
Here is a test gallery that I created in 10 seconds flat.
However, we regret that the images do not adapt perfectly to the size of your web browser and that it is not possible to download the images from the gallery (which can also be an advantage for protecting your photos).
Your data and photos are stored on secure servers, but please avoid posting confidential or risky content there!
In short, MFile is a great tool, very practical and super easy to use.
