Given the amount of time I spend on the web, I really try a lot of tools and websites. But few are those that really convince me and therefore few are those that I use over time. But this site, I have been using it for years, it is the little brother of the excellent ILovePDF PDF editing tool that I had already presented to you some time ago. This free tool is called ILoveIMG and it is really a superb toolbox for working on image files!
ILoveIMG, a superb toolbox to edit your images
When I first started using this site and its tools, it only offered 5 tools, all of which were very useful (compress, resize, crop, convert to and from JPG). However, the site has since expanded and now offers 13 tools for free!
What I really like about ILoveIMG is that in addition to being 100% free, it only offers useful tools. So some will be more useful to you than others, but overall, the site's developers have not chosen to offer as many tools as possible, they have chosen to offer useful tools that work well!
In fact, ILoveIMG will offer you 13 very easy-to-use tools that will allow you to carry out the following operations:
- Compress images : reduce the weight of your images in JPG, PNG, SVG or GIF without any loss of quality (ideal for working on the web)
- Resize images : define a new size for your images (in pixels or percentage) while maintaining or not the aspect ratio
- Crop images : draw a rectangle on your image to crop it
- Convert images to JPG format from TIFF, PNG, GIF, PSD, SVG, WEBP, HEIC or RAW formats
- Convert JPG images to PNG or GIF… with multiple images, you can even create an animated GIF
- Edit photos : some simple tools to add text, effects, stickers, frames…
- Improve the image : allows you to enlarge your photos while limiting the loss of quality
- Remove background
- Add watermark : embed a watermark on the image in text or image format (with the possibility to select the transparency level of the watermark)
- Generate memes
- Do rotate an image or more images
- Capture a web page: from a URL, the tool will capture an entire web page
- Blur a face : to blur a face or any other element of a photo
But that's not all. There are two other highlights of ILoveIMG that make me love this site.
First of all, most of the tools are interconnected with each other. By this, I mean that if you try to convert a PNG and JPG file, you will be able to directly use the converted result in the resizing tool. Then once the JPG is resized to the right size, you will be able to compress it to obtain a file with a reduced weight. And once you have gone through all the necessary modifications, you can download the result.
Second thing, you can upload and process multiple images at once! Once you've made the changes, you'll get everything back as a compressed ZIP archive.
A free version that is more than sufficient
The tools offered by IloveIMG are completely free to use. However, for advanced users, there is a paid Premium version that allows you to load more files when you want to do mass processing (120 instead of 30) and also allows you to increase the size of the files for each task (from 200MB to 4GB)… And that's about all that changes!
So given the limitations, these premium subscriptions are really reserved for very greedy users. The free version is largely sufficient in the vast majority of cases. Since the time I have been using it, I have not been confronted with any limit.
In short, ILoveIMG is a nice little toolbox for image processing. It is definitely one of my favorites and I use it almost daily, especially to process the images on this site! So remember to add it to your favorites to always have it on hand!

Hey, there is a new and good performing website to reduce image, I just tried it and got a better result, it's totally free and not required for any registration.
