Google's spirit of innovation leads the American company to constantly develop new tools... often unknown to the general public, some of these utilities are worth a look.
So, within the Crome Music Lab, Google has integrated a tool called Song maker. As you probably understood, Song Maker allows you to compose songs. And it all happens in the browser. You can define a sequence of notes from a matrix of sounds and Song Maker will play them for you in a loop.
Think of it as a much simplified music sequencer that runs within your web browser. Song Maker also lets you connect a MIDI keyboard, add percussion, sing along to your song, and share it with your friends (yes, you guessed it, it promises some fun nights).
The advantage is that with such a tool, you don't need to know anything about music, composition and even less about music theory. Add a few notes, try some things out and in a few clicks you will be able to create something completely usable... maybe for you the beginning of a vocation and an artistic reconversion.

On top of all that, the interface is very colorful and pleasant! Moreover, the developers have worked on the ergonomics to the end since you can use your keyboard to add notes (the arrows allow you to move in the matrix and Enter and Backspace add and remove notes).
In short, as usual, Google offers tools that are too often overlooked, but which should be able to please quite a few people... by the way, don't hesitate to look at the other projects available in the Chrome Music Lab!
