This is the story of a legendary album whose cover is familiar to everyone: Nevermind by Nirvana, released on September 24, 1991.
25 years later almost to the day, Spencer Elden (who is now 25 years old) decided to pay tribute to this album by recreating the famous photo that illustrates the cover.
He originally wanted to pose completely naked like in the original photo, but photographer John Chapple (who had already re-shot the photo in 2012) managed to convince him to wear swim trunks. Chapple paid Spencer $200 for the photo shoot, the same amount his parents had been paid for the Nirvana album shoot.
Anyway, time has flown by and Nevermind's baby is now 25! And yeah, that doesn't make us any younger!
