Her name is Concha Garcia Zaera, she is Spanish and she is 87 years old… but what sets her apart from the rest of the grandmothers is his Instagram account full of works of art that she created, not without talent, on Paint, the Microsoft drawing program.
In an interview with Radio Valencia, Zaera says she used to take oil painting classes, but couldn't practice at home because of the strong smell of the paints. When her children gave her a computer, she discovered Microsoft Paint.
The super Granny indicated during her interview that her inspiration comes mainly from postcards and landscapes. All her work is done on a computer equipped with Windows 7 and she draws only with her mouse (graphic designers and their graphics tablet will appreciate the challenge!). The realization of a work takes about two weeks for this grandmother who is very meticulous about details!
Concha used to post her artwork on her Facebook account, until one of her granddaughters suggested she use Instagram instead. On March 9, 2018, she only had 300 followers… but the buzz has done its job, and the grandmother has now surpassed 100 followers!
The grandmother says she is amused by the magnitude of the phenomenon that has been created around them, but remains incredulous, because for her they are only simple drawings... It's up to you to judge!
