The law is the law… and there is no getting around it…

However, there are some laws in the United States that were passed in a now distant time that may raise a smile and that are probably no longer respected (we hope)!

While these laws may have had a rationale when they were put in place (although it is hard to believe in some cases), they seem absolutely far-fetched today. This is why the American photographer Olivia Locher decided to illustrate some of these crazy laws… and it’s worth a look!

Here are some examples:

In Connecticut, pickles must bounce to actually be considered pickles.
