YouTube channel 4096 had fun imagining what Windows 95 would have looked like on a modern Windows Phone.
Released in August 1995 by Microsoft, Windows 95 was a real step forward from previous versions of Windows, making it the most popular operating system of the time. Its graphical interface and ergonomics in particular made it stand out.
More than 20 years later, its design is totally outdated... even downright ugly, but at the time it was a nice evolution compared to previous systems.
As a result, there is a striking gap between a modern smartphone and this long-outdated operating system.
You will thus be able to discover what Windows 95 would have looked like on mobile, but also a rendering of certain current applications in "Windows 95" mode. This is the case for example of WhatsApp, Twitter or even YouTube which are adorned with very retro graphics!
