Le Vickers VC-10 is a British airliner from the 60s. It has not flown since 2008, but Steve Jones, a former Royal Air Force technician, converted the engine nacelle of one of these decommissioned jets into a camping caravan. He estimates that he spent just over €4 and 000 hours of work over three months to build his craft. On the Facebook page of the project, he indicates:
I had the unique opportunity to transform the VC4 XV10 engine #104 nacelle into my new 4 seater caravan. Discover my adventure from plane to caravan.
To tell the truth, the result is very surprising and really successful! Well, you don't have to be claustrophobic and if you're going as a family, you'd better get along well... with 4 of you in there, you're going to have to squeeze in a bit!
