When you go on vacation or a long weekend, there is little more unpleasant than finding yourself in the high season of the place you are going to. OffPeak.io is a stylish website that helps you identify the most suitable days for an affordable vacation. To do this, it provides data on hotel room prices and a lot of other practical information and displays them in easy-to-read graphs so you can quickly find the cheapest dates for a particular location.
In addition to median prices for accommodation, this tool provides information on hotel availability as well as weather information based on historical records. But that's not all, because to go even further, the site indicates with red lines the periods during which events are taking place where you want to go... For example, in the image below, if you want to go to Paris in March, be careful, because there is Fashion Week... and its potential share of exuberant tourists who will increase the occupancy rate of hotel rooms and therefore their price.
That said, and as this image shows, Paris is a bad example, because overall, the city that attracts the most tourists in the world each year, experiences relatively few periods of respite.
Unfortunately, the site is still in beta, it is not free of bugs and the catalog of destinations covered is not yet exhaustive... however, the developer promises to regularly increase the number of cities integrated into its tool.
