Just like Times Square in New York, Tokyo's streets are known for their colors and their large number of ads. So the French graphic designer Nicolas Damiens wondered what the Japanese capital would look like if we erased all the ads, slogans and logos of the big brands.
So he made a series of photos entitled “ Tokyo no Ads " in which he removed all the advertisements from the streets of Tokyo... and the result is rather interesting, even disturbing!

Yeah, I thought he would have removed the signs altogether so that we could see the buildings completely. Here, he just removed the text of the advertisements, I don't see what's surprising
However, I find that it makes a real difference... the streets seem much less crowded... after all, it would be fun to see the same exercise but completely remove the advertising spaces!
