I came across this video published by MetalBallStudios a few days ago and I really liked its concept even though it was designed in December 2016.
Indeed, its objective is to put into perspective the size of different video game cards. Of course the video is not exhaustive, but it includes a large number of games that have marked recent years.
The video begins with Grand Theft Auto III's 6km² map, and ends with Minecraft's 4km² map (which is a significant jump from The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall's previous 096km² map).
In addition to being entertaining in its content, this video is very well done and positions the cards next to each other, allowing you to see the difference in size.
However, we can discuss the presence of Minecraft in this selection, given that there is no Minecraft map per se, as it is generated procedurally with each new game...
