I am regularly asked how I made my avatar (the little bearded man who represents me everywhere).

Well it's very simple. There is a website called FaceYourManga.com which allows you to realize for free your caricature.

This site has been around for a few years now but has proven to be very effective for a really nice result.

FaceYourManga opens with a choice of gender Choose Male or Female and then follow the instructions. The publisher suggests dozens of face shapes, hairstyles, skin tones, and accessories to achieve a result that truly reflects your personality. Once you're satisfied, enter your email address. You'll receive a download link to your high-resolution illustration. By creating an account, you'll be able to archive, edit and duplicate Create your own designs at will, a practical way to differentiate your professional and personal identities.

Once your creation is complete, FaceYourManga will ask you for some information to send you an email link to download your portrait.

You can also create an account to find/edit all your portraits.

This site therefore offers a cool way to illustrate your profile pictures on Facebook, X or even TikTok and Instagram.

Some very skilled users even have fun with caricature personalities…and sometimes there are some really really heavy ones (Sheldon Cooper, Michael Jackson and Steve Jobs for example)!
