The star toy of the playground, the famous Hand Spinner, is now available virtually in your browser!
I discovered this toy a few weeks ago when my kids were asking me for an andspinner to be as cool as their friends.
If you come from another galaxy, the hand spinner or fidget spinner is defined by Wikipedia as
a toy that keeps your hands busy, relieves stress and helps you concentrate better, but also a form of leisure.
It consists of a central axis equipped with ball bearings allowing it to rotate; around this central axis, three weighted arms are most often arranged, but their number varies depending on the model. It can be rotated for up to several minutes, depending on the model.
Given the scale of this phenomenon and in my desire to move with the times, I even bought one to relax in the office!
But that was before! Before discovering that there was a website created solely to reproduce a hand spinner!
Uploaded by developer and designer Mike Bodge, FFFFidget is an interactive online simulation that lets you play with a virtual hand spinner just like a real one!
The application is very simple, the only thing you can do is spin the spinner with your mouse. The toy will then start to spin more or less quickly depending on the force you gave to your movement. You can stop it by clicking on it.

Note that the site also works on mobile and it's even more satisfying to run it with your fingertip on your smartphone!
