The French director Guillaume Blanchet posted a very nice animated film called “A Girl Named Elastika” a few days ago.
Filmed entirely in stop motion, this short film features a little girl (named Elastika…) made of thumbtacks and rubber bands, just like the sets.
It took Guillaume Blanchet nearly 10 photos to make this film which tells the story of a dreamy and intrepid little girl who seeks to discover the world.
It won awards at many festivals in 2014 and is worth a look!
