Here is a nice project by Cary Huang that aims to make us realize how vast our universe is.
Indeed, this interactive infographic, entitled The scale of the Universe and available in French, allows you to progress through hundreds of objects ranging from the infinitely small to the infinitely large. It thus allows you to discover and compare the size of everything around us.
The infographic starts with a human being and an elevator at the bottom of the screen allows you to navigate to the infinitely large to the right or the infinitely small to the left (you can also use the mouse wheel).
For each of the elements represented, if you click on it you will have access to a description as well as its size.
In short, here is a beautiful website (which is now in version 2) which will allow you to better understand the scale of what surrounds us!
