Have you ever wondered where you would end up if you dug a tunnel under your feet to come out on the other side of the earth? Or simply what is on the other side of the globe from where you are?
This is the answer that I am trying to give you Antipodes Map by allowing you to find the place diametrically opposite another on Earth.
Antipodes Map is a free and very easy to use site.
In the address bar at the top of the site, simply enter a country, city or address and press the “Find” button.
Below, you will be able to view two OpenStreetMap maps. The one on the left corresponds to the address you entered in the search bar, the one on the right, as you will have understood, displays its antipode!
At the antipodes of Paris, for example, you will find yourself in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean… a stone's throw from New Zealand.
I don't know about you, but for me this site answers an existential question that I often asked myself as a child: who is under my feet, on the other side of the Earth?
