Drawing is a skill… and the more you practice the better and faster you become. That’s what the illustrator Mark Crilley wanted to prove it by challenging his fellow cartoonists.
The rules of his challenge were as follows: Choose a character and make a sketch of that same character in 10 minutes, 1 minute and 10 seconds then place them side by side for easy comparison.
Several artists played the game for our greatest pleasure.

It's a little daunting to see how fast time can really go.
This challenge shows that even in 10 seconds, talented artists are able to identify the basic elements that make up a character and put them down on paper. The result is really cool and sometimes even impressive!
