Drawing requires talent and a lot of practice. So not everyone is capable of being an accomplished drawer. And that's especially true for me!
Google teams that regularly work on artificial intelligence and machine learning (Machine Learning) regularly provide us with fairly powerful tools for image recognition.
With AutoDraw, Google offers a tool that will try to guess, as you progress in your drawing, what you want to draw. The tool will then suggest different drawings that you can click on so that it appears on your sheet in place of your scribble.
AutoDraw uses the same technology as quickdraw which we told you about a few months ago and which allows you to guess in a few seconds what you are drawing.
So I did several tests with this tool and it's frankly amazing! The car that I'm painfully trying to draw below is a perfect example!
Of course, AutoDraw doesn't work every time. Right now, the tool is "trained" to guess hundreds of different drawings, and the developers working on it plan to add more over time.
In short, the Google teams are once again demonstrating the power of machine learning with a very fun use!
