Best Use of 360° Video: Where's Waldo?

360° video on YouTube is a new trend that is starting to inspire quite a few people. We have seen some great examples of these videos with This NASA trip to Mars or especially this flight in an Airbus A320 cockpit…but here is a rather original idea since it involves reproducing the game Where is Charlie? in a 360° video.

I imagine that you all know or recognize the famous character Charlie (Waldo in the US or Wally in England) wearing his hat and his red and white sweater that you have to find on a page in the middle of a crowd.

Well, Corridor Digital uploaded a few days ago this video filmed using GoPro cameras with the aim of showing the creativity and technical possibilities offered by 360° videos.

For Wren Weichman, who plays Charlie in the video but is also Corridor Digital's visual effects manager,

It was the perfect excuse to make a 360 video, because it really gets you looking everywhere. You're trying to find Charlie... right?
