CEO Simulator: Step into the shoes of a startup CEO!

Have you always dreamed of launching your own startup, but without risking your mental health or taking financial risks? CEO Simulator is here for you! This simulation game puts you in the shoes of a CEO tasked with getting your startup off the ground in just two weeks flat.

But be warned, life as a startup executive isn't exactly a walk in the park... Between tight finances, tricky team management, rapid product creation, and a precarious mental balance, every day could well turn into a nightmare. So, are you ready to take on the challenge?

A simulation game inspired by the world of startups

CEO Simulator is a small free game, available online via your browser Favorite website. In the game, you play as the boss of a startup and must juggle multiple priorities to prevent your project from ending in disaster. Your mission: deliver a minimum viable product (MVP) and secure the necessary funding before the end of the fateful 14 days.

But be careful, nothing is simple: unforeseen events, complex decisions, limited time... In short, everything you need to feel the pressure... but without the real financial risks (phew!).

The game is based on five strategic axes :

  • Team morale : Keep your team motivated without pushing them to burnout or triggering internal disputes.
  • Technological debt : Sloppy code today could turn into a disaster tomorrow… You have to find the right balance between speed and quality.
  • CEO Mental Health : Working day and night is great... until your brain explodes. Managing your stress is crucial!
  • Funding : Without money, there is no project. You will have to attract investors and convince partners.
  • Minimum Viable Product (MVP) : You don't need a perfect product from the start, but you need at least something functional to attract the first customers.

How to play CEO Simulator?

The game takes place on 14 towers, each round representing a day of work. Here's how it works in practice:

Draw an event card

Each morning, a surprise event comes to shake up your daily life: unforeseen meeting, catastrophic bug, unexpected investment opportunity... anything can happen!

Allocate your working hours

You have 8 hours a day to move forward with your goals. You need to decide what to focus on: improving one aspect of your startup, resolving a crisis, or seeking funding.

Roll the dice to move forward

Want to improve your product or boost morale? A roll of the die determines how long it will take to achieve it. It's up to you to manage your schedule wisely!

Manage overtime

If you're short on time, you can work overtime... But be careful: The later you work, the more your mental health takes a hit! And if it drops to -3, you lose!

End of the day and transition to the next day

Each day ends automatically, and you start again the next day with a new event card. You have 14 days to success…or fail miserably.

How to win (or lose)?

To claim victory after 14 days, you need:

  • A product on point (+5 on the MVP track).
  • Investors in the pocket (+5 on the Financing track).

But be careful, things can quickly spiral out of control at any moment. You lose immediately if one of the five pillars (morale, debt, health, cash, MVP) drops to -3, or if you miss your objectives at the end. Cruel, but realistic!
