I have been following the Argentinian photographer for several years Irina Werning…in fact, since I discovered his series of photos entitled Back To The Future.
In this project, the photographer re-stages childhood photos by having the protagonist(s) pose in the same place, in the same position and with the same clothes... To this, she adds a little "vintage" treatment of the photo and that's it...
The result is really very nice!
If I talk again today about Irina Werning and Back To The Future, is that the artist has just released a new book after 4 years of work and 36 countries traveled to take these photos...
This work, available in pre-order for £54 (around €66), will only be printed in 1000 copies and the first 100 will be numbered and signed.

And finally, here is a documentary on this project made in 2011 by the journalist Jamie Jesset:
Nice, no?
