This compressor and image converter allows you to optimize an image by reducing its original size by up to 90%. Of course, the efficiency of compression varies because it depends on many factors such as the initial state of the image, its color distribution, its format, etc.

To compress an image (or several at once), start by going to the dedicated page on OptimizeImages. Drag an image to the location provided or provide a URL and the tool will fetch images from a website.
Once you have the image(s) uploaded, you can play around with the different options available to you. Choose an output format if you want to convert the image in the process, check the box to get SEO embed codes, select the compression mode (recommended, medium or ultra) and choose whether or not to add a watermark.
Once you have made your settings, click on Optimize to start the grinder. Once the process is complete, the list of your images will be displayed at the bottom of the page. You will then see the size gain obtained with your images and this is where you will be able to download them.
A cool feature lets you view both versions of the image side by side, allowing you to check if the quality has been affected by compression.
