Maybe you were lucky enough to get Pure speakers for Christmas. Maybe even the ones presented to you in this article (Pure Jongo, the wireless and multi-room speakers).
But now you're wondering how to connect them in stereo or multi-room... Don't panic, I'll explain!
The first step is to download the Pure Connect app for iOS or Android.
Next, you need to set up a first speaker:
- Turn on your Jongo.
- When the power indicator is solid green, press the Wi-Fi button on the back.
At this point, either your box or router includes WPS technology (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) and your speaker will connect automatically (Don't forget to support it thoughyer on the button WPS of your box).
If not :
- Wait a few seconds until the power indicator flashes orange.
- Go to your device's Wi-Fi settings (iPhone, iPad, computer, or other)
- The speaker is listed as a network there. Select that network. No password is required.
- After a few seconds, the Jongo configuration page should open automatically. If it doesn't, open your internet browser and type " myjongo » in the address bar.
- To rename your Jongo, enter its new name, then press “ Change name ».
- Select your wireless network
- Enter your network password, then tap “ Connect ».
After clicking on Connect , the indicator will flash and turn solid green to indicate that your Jongo is connected.
On the other hand, the red flashing of the power indicator indicates that there is a problem with the Jongo's network connection. Check that you have configured your network settings correctly and repeat the steps above if necessary.
From this moment you can stream content to your device connected in WiFi. However, you will only be able to distribute themà from l'atPure Connect application.
- To stream content to your Jongo, press “P” in the player bar to display a list of available Jongo devices on your network.
- Press “P” next to the Jongo you want to use.
If you are lucky enough to have several speakers you can connect them together.
- Turn on your second speaker.
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the Jongo that is already connected to your network until the power indicator flashes green.
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the back of the new Jongo until the power indicator flashes green.
- After approximately 30 seconds, the power LEDs on both Jongos will turn solid green to confirm that the new Jongo is connected to your network.
Once your two speakers are connected to the network, you will be able to send the same sound to both speakers. You will also be able to choose between two speakers emitting the same sound in two different rooms or, one on the left and one on the right for example.

- In your Pure Connect app. Go to the tab Settings and My devices.
- Start some music.
- Click on the "P" allowing you to choose which speaker to send the stream to.
- Click on Coupling top right.
- Choose which speaker is right and left.
- Click on To confirm.
- Take advantage!
To connect your speaker via Bluetooth:
- Activate Bluetooth on your terminal
- Search for other Bluetooth devices
- Connect to your speaker
- Distribute content
When connecting via Bluetooth, you will only be able to stream content to one speaker at a time, but you will be able to stream any content from any app.
