With the implementation of this new phase of confinement, we will have to get back into our good habits: avoid unnecessary travel as much as possible and when you have to go out, generate a travel certificate justifying your outing.
While it is possible to print a form provided by the state, you can also fill out a certificate directly on your mobile. The operation is not complicated, but a little tedious, because you will have to systematically fill in the same information: name, address, date and place of birth.
So we will see how to generate and very easily pre-fill a travel certificate on iOS.
Automatically fill in your travel certificate on iOS
So to automate all of this, we're going to use Apple's Shortcuts app!
1- To begin, you will need to download the following shortcut on your iPhone: Travel declaration.
Note: If this is the first time you are downloading a shortcut from a source outside of Apple, you will need to enable the "Allow untrusted shortcuts" option in Settings > Shortcuts (see images below).
2- The Travel Certificate shortcut will then open in the Shortcuts app on your iPhone. You will be able to see all the steps implemented by this shortcut, but at this stage, you only have to go all the way down to click on the red button "Add an untrusted shortcut".
3- You must then configure this shortcut by replacing the data with that which concerns you: first name, last name, date of birth… in short, all the information necessary for the automatic filling of the form (this information can be modified at any time in the Shortcuts application).
4- The shortcut is now in place. To use it, go to Safari and go to the government form on exceptional travel (http://media.interieur.gouv.fr/deplacement-covid-19/)
5- At the bottom of the browser, click on the square with an up arrow, scroll through the available options until you find the one called “Digital Certificate” or the name you gave to your shortcut if you changed it. Click on it to run the shortcut.
6- Enter the time of your departure
7- Choose the reason for your outing
8- When using it for the first time, authorize your shortcut to access “interieur.gouv.fr”.
9- Close the options window… and you will see your completely completed certificate appear, PDF Format.
At this point you can do whatever you want with it, but you can save it to the File app by going back to the square with an arrow at the bottom of the browser and selecting the "Save to File" option.
