Since last July, an account called Cursed Images (Cursed Images) posts images on Twitter with only a number as a comment. The745 picture depicts a crucified Barbie, the 7777 a girl with a strange watermelon disguise, the 462 a little girl serving tea to big spiders... In short, all these images (nearly 350 today) have one thing in common, they are disturbing.
This Twitter account, which in just a few months has managed to accumulate nearly 100 followers, is completely anonymous. Its bio only states " all of these images are cursed » (All these images are cursed).

What is disturbing about this account is that these photos, sometimes distressingly banal, ultimately generate a certain unease that is difficult to understand.
Contacted by email by the The New Yorker, the administrator of this account who wanted to remain anonymous still answered a few questions and that's not necessarily reassuring!
To this day, I waste a ridiculous amount of my time watching videos of dolls supposedly being caught moving.
My family traveled a lot when I was growing up, and everywhere we went, I would ask about urban legends or any paranormal sightings in the area. When I was 9, my mom and I went to the Sallie House—a white brick house in Kansas known for its ghostly little girl—and we met someone who was supposedly haunted by Sallie's ghost.
I don't remember if we started going to these types of places because I was interested or if I became interested because we were going to these types of places.
That says a lot about the administrator of this Twitter account!
Of the two people followed by Cursed Images on Twitter is Uncursed Image an account managed by the same person and which reveals the source of all photos published.
