The Hack in Paris event, organized by the cybersecurity subsidiary of the Hub One group, Sysdream, took place from June 16 to 20, 2019. For the ninth edition, this large gathering of enthusiasts and professionals in digital and cybersecurity offered a rich and varied program. Training, conferences, workshops and Wargames allowed participants to fully immerse themselves in the world of hacking.
An interactive experience in the world of cybersecurity
The Hack in Paris event, recognized by professionals and cybersecurity enthusiasts as the unifying event in the field, offered many interactive activities. Participants were able to get involved in training for all levels, given by professionals in the sector, and then practice their lessons in dedicated workshops. The goal is to learn in a relaxed atmosphere.
Among the proposed training topics, the emphasis was placed on the NotSoSecure "Advances Web Hacking" training courses, which immerse participants in the world of web application attacks. The goal is to put yourself in the hacker's shoes and exploit the vulnerabilities of different servers. Attacks that are really affecting businesses and individuals today.
An event that correlates with the rise of cybercrime
Companies are now regularly confronted with cyberattacks. This event is therefore an opportunity to raise awareness and provide more in-depth training to professionals, as well as individuals, on the new and increasingly advanced techniques used by hackers. Hub One, the parent company of Sysdream, is also very invested in the deployment of digital solutions provided to companies. It regularly intervenes to digitize production processes, as it does for example with order preparation by voice recognition under the Android operator.
Many companies are therefore choosing to optimize their productivity, as is the case for carriers, who are digitalizing their logistics with delivery tracking solutions. These digital tools are a boon for the pace of the company, but also a risk for their security. Sysdream, which offers training and cybersecurity audits for professionals, has therefore chosen, through its Hack in Paris event, to promote good reflexes while raising awareness of the dangers linked to digital technology.
