Instagram has very quickly established itself as THE social network for images. Over time, its features have been enhanced, but the network has always sought to protect its users against the recovery of their photos. However, faced with too many strict requirements, it is sometimes necessary to circumvent the omnipotence of social networks a little and it can be useful to recover photos from Instagram (while of course respecting the intellectual property attached to each photo).

Weinstag is a small, free online utility that will allow you to download photos and videos from Instagram to your PC, from a URL.
Its operation couldn't be simpler. Go to Weinstag. Search the interface, which is overloaded with ads of all kinds, for the field in which to copy the URL of the Instagram image you want to recover.
Copy the link of the image or video you want to recover and click on the pink “Download Now” button.
The utility will retrieve the photo in question and you will have to click on the blue button "Save this image" to save it on your computer.
Finally, the utility has of a module also allowing you to recover any Story on Instagram. To do this, you will just need the Instagram username of the account whose story you want to recover.
In short, even if this site is overloaded with advertisements which spoil its ergonomics, Weinstag is a very simple and very practical tool to use to occasionally retrieve images or Stories on Instagram.
