We live in a time where the number of artists has multiplied very clearly! Today, anyone who is a little motivated and has talent or not can quite easily release an album and hope to make a minimum buzz thanks to social networks. So with the mass of information available, it is not always easy to keep up to date with the latest news from your favorite musicians.
If you're like me, you'll often find out months or years later that a singer you like has released an album... without letting you know! Okay, they're exaggerating, but it's not inevitable!
Indeed, there is Droptune, a website that will help you stay up to date!
Droptune to be notified of any artist's new album!
To start, you'll need to create an account by logging in using Twitter. We agree, it's a bit limited as a login option and if you don't have a Twitter account, too bad for you! That said, you can still access the site's database and that's already pretty good!
Once you are logged in, you will be able to search for artists and subscribe to those you want to follow.
As you will have understood, the site is very comprehensive and even includes French-speaking artists!
Once you have selected all your favorite artists, you will see on the home page the list of all the albums recently released for your artists, the albums that will be released soon and the latest music videos available.
Finally, the cherry on the cake is that the site has a generator that connects to Spotify and Apple Music and creates tailor-made playlists based on your musical tastes, such as Droptune artists.
In your Droptune account settings, you can ask the site to send you an email alert every week with the latest news from the groups you follow! Practical so you don't miss anything!
But ultimately, beyond tracking your favorite artists, Droptune is also a very good database that will allow you to consult all the albums released by the musicians and also access the list of titles of each album!
In short, Droptune is a really cool tool if you are passionate about music of all kinds and you can no longer follow everything efficiently! To try urgently!
The service of Droptune has unfortunately stopped working.
