I often find articles that interest me, but that I don't have time to read right away. Usually, when I'm in this situation, I try to send the article to myself by email to keep it aside. But the operation is often tedious.
But that was before I discovered a very useful web utility called EmailThis.
In fact, EmailThis will allow you to very easily send yourself by email (in just one click) any article or web page, while keeping only the essentials, namely the images and the text. You will therefore receive the entire article in your mailbox without the ads!
To use EmailThis, you just need to add a small bookmarklet to your browser.
Step 1. Visit EmailThis and install the bookmarklet:
- Enter your email address in the dedicated field and press “Install our bookmarklet”
- You will receive an email asking you to confirm your email address. Click the link in the email to return to EmailThis
- Then drag the blue square “Email This” into your bookmarks bar
Your bookmarks bar may not be visible. For Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer or Edge browsers, if you are on Mac make the shortcut Command + Shift + B, if you are on Windows do Control + Shift + B. For Firefox, the shortcuts are Command+B ou Ctrl+B.
Step 2. When you come across online content that interests you, click on the bookmark Email This in your favorites bar… and that’s it.
You will receive an email with the content in question stripped of all the excess!
Moreover, this tool also works on Android or iOS!
