On the occasion of the release of Bob Dylan's latest compilation entitled The Cutting Edge 1965-1966: The Bootleg Series Vol. 12, the record company of the famous musician has put online a pretty nice website which will allow you to go into more detail into the recording between 1965 and 1966 of the three flagship albums which make up this compilation: Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited et Blonde On Blonde.
On the program, the record company is making available to the public several exclusive extracts from the recordings made in New York and Nashville with the intention of bringing you into the recording studio alongside the sound engineers...
And so, to go further, you will even have the opportunity to become a Dylan sound engineer by working on the 4 tracks of the recording of the very famous song "Like a Rolling Stone". A second song should arrive soon!
Voice+Guitar, Percussion+Organ, Piano+Bass and Solo Guitar are the 4 tracks that you will be able to use!
I won't hide from you that you only have a few options since you can only play on the volume of each of the tracks (from 0 to 100%) but the experience is fun and allows you to listen to this rock monument again in a fun way!
In any case, what is great is that even at 74 years old, Bob Dylan manages to stay in tune with the times by offering modern content based on 50-year-old recordings!
For English speakers, here is a short video that talks about this beautiful compilation:
