Here is a feature that I discovered when I received my Freebox Pop: the possibility of giving access to your WiFi network to your guests by asking them to scan a QR code. The idea is rather attractive since it allows you to avoid having to disclose the password of your box's WiFi to everyone!
Free therefore offers this functionality to its subscribers, but if your internet service provider has not had the good idea to offer you this possibility, there is a small website which will allow you to do so: WiFi Card.
Its operation is very simple and free.
Generate a QR Code to share your WiFi password
To get started, go to the WiFi Card website. You must then enter the name of your WiFi network (its SSID). Then enter the password to access your network. You will then see the QR code displayed on the left change according to the information you enter.

Once the information is entered, you can print your WiFi Card with QR code that will allow your guests to connect to your WiFi. You can also make a right click on the QR code to save it as an image on your computer.
From then on, if someone wants to connect to your home, they will only have to scan the code with their mobile phone to connect directly to your WiFi!
If you would like to know more, the project source code is available on Github.
