Go back to the old version of Twitter

The new version of Twitter has arrived. One thing is certain, it is not unanimous. Personally, I find it very difficult to read and much less ergonomic than before. I miss information and I am completely lost!

Fortunately, some have already found a way to go back!

So if like me you want to go back to the previous version, I will show you how to do it.

Go back to the old version of Twitter

To get started, log in to Twitter from your computer.

On your feed home page, in the left column, locate the button Plus with the three little dots, and click on it.

In the menu that then appears, select the option Settings and privacy.

You are now on the settings page of the new Twitter. In the category General, click on About Twitter, And then Member directory in the options on the far right.

You then arrive at the Directory and from then on you have access to the old version of Twitter by clicking on the button Home (or Notification or Messages) at the top of the page.

Unfortunately, there is no indication that this solution will work in a sustainable way, maybe Twitter will also switch this part to the new design in the coming days.

Another drawback of this method is that it is not permanent and you would have to do the same thing every time you reconnect!
