I spend a lot of time on Twitter, this is one of my monitoring tools. So, from time to time, I come across videos that arouse a keen interest in me either because they are really interesting, more often because they make me die laughing. So I like to be able to store them to watch them or reuse them in various contexts. But retrieving a video on Twitter is not so simple and few video downloading tools allow you to do it on Twitter.
So here's how you can go about it!
Upload a video to Twitter
To get started, go to Twitter and navigate to the tweet containing the video you want to download. Right-click on the video and click “ Copy video address"
Next, go to a site like GetMyTweet and in the bar that says " Enter the tweet URL… » paste the video URL. Then click the big blue button « Download"
You will then be sent to a page with one or more links to download the video. In fact, it will offer you several qualities, the larger the displayed file weight, the better the quality.
Then right-click on the green button “ Download Link » and choose the option “Save link as…”

If you simply click on the link the video will open in a new tab and start playing automatically. At this point, it is still possible to save it. Just right-click on the video and select the option "Save video as..." (or an equivalent option depending on the browser you are using).
There are quite a few sites that allow you to do the same thing, I haven't tested them all, but they seem to work more or less the same way. Some of these include: SaveTweetVid, DonwloadTwitterVideo or, TWSaver.
So, what's your favorite site or program to download Twitter videos? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below!
