In case you weren't aware, Twitter offers you the ability to download all of your Twitter data to your computer.
This operation is possible on the web version of Twitter but also on the mobile version (which then redirects to the web version of the network). The two processes are therefore identical.
Download all your Twitter data to your computer
To start, Log in to your account Twitter from a computer or on mobile.
You will need to go to Twitter settings which you can access by clicking on the “More” menu represented by 3 points in a circle, on the left of the screen.
In the menu that opens, click on Settings and privacy.

You are now in the Twitter settings section. Then click on Your Account.

In Your Account, you will see an option titled Download an archive of your data. Click on it.

For security reasons, you will need to re-enter the mot de passe from your Twitter account. Click the button Next and choose whether you want to receive a verification code by SMS or email.

Enter the code received and click on Next.

In the next window, click on the button Request an archive.

A message will tell you that Twitter will notify you when your archive is ready. The network indicates that the creation of your archive can take up to 24 hours… indeed, this file can be quite large (up to several GB, mine is 1 GB) depending on your use of Twitter and the age of your account.
When your archive is ready to download, you will receive an email to inform you and the information will also appear in your Twitter notifications.

To download the archive, you will have to enter your password again (security requires it!), request and enter a security code and finally access the button allowing you to download your archive.

Once the archive is generated by Twitter you only have a few days (about a week) to download it before it is deleted from Twitter's servers.
In your archive file, you will be able to navigate your data by accessing the file “Your achive.html”.
If what you are interested in is your media, no problem, they are all stored in the folder data\tweet_media.

So now you know how someone can download all their Twitter data.
