How to download your Twitch videos?

Twitch is the reference site for video game streaming. If you use Twitch to share your best video game games with the world, you probably know that the site has an option to automatically archive your broadcasts. This option is very interesting but Twitch does not keep your archives indefinitely. Indeed, depending on your status on the site, your videos will be kept from 14 to 60 days.

So how do you keep them forever? The best way to do this is to download your videos to your computer. This way you will be free to do whatever you want with them!

Upload your Twitch videos

So here's how to do it in a few very simple steps!

Step 1: Sign into your account Twitch.

Step 2: On the home page, at the top right of the site, click on your username to bring up a menu. In this menu, click on Video manager.

Alternately, If you are on your Twitch channel, find your username at the bottom left, click on it to open the menu and click on Video manager.

Step 4: You will then arrive at the Video Manager screen. Here, you will see all your archived videos (at least those that are still available).

Find the video you want to download, and click the button Plus to bring up the menu. In this menu, select the option Download.

Step 5: Twitch will prepare your upload and when it is ready, a window will open asking you to choose a location to save your video in Mp4 format. Please note that the preparation of the upload will be more or less long depending on the duration of your stream.
