Everyone changes their mind from time to time (okay, some more than others). And that might be the case with your Amazon reviews, too. When you receive a product, you might be super happy, but if it stops working after a few uses, your opinion might change drastically. Luckily, Amazon keeps all your order reviews, allowing you to find, edit or delete them if you feel like it. You can access them both via the Amazon website and the mobile app.
Access your Amazon reviews on desktop
Whether you use a computer On Windows, Mac, Linux, or Chromebook desktop, you can use the official Amazon website to view and edit your review history.
- To get started, open your favorite web browser and go to the page Your public profile on Amazon (click directly on the link, because this page is really not easy to find). Log in to your account if you are not already.
- On your profile page, in the Reviews section, you will find all the Amazon reviews you have published.
- To edit or delete a review, click on the three little dots located in the upper right corner of the relevant notice.
- In the menu that appears, click Edit a comment to edit it. To delete your review, select Delete comment.
If you choose to edit your review, Amazon will redirect you to a “Create Review” page where you can edit the content of your review (rating, title, comment, photos). Once you have made your changes, click Send to repost your review.
If you choose to delete, you will arrive at a confirmation page. There, in the message "Are you sure you want to delete your comment?", select Yes to confirm the deletion of the selected review.
Your Amazon review of the product will then be permanently deleted.
View your Amazon reviews on mobile
To access your reviews from your mobile phone, start by opening the Amazon app. Sign in to your account if necessary.
- In the bottom bar of the Amazon app, tap theicon representing a person
- On the next page, click Your Account.
- Then scroll down the page to reach the section Account settings then click Manage your profiles
- On the profile management page, go to the bottom and click on View your posts, comments, and other public content.
- You finally reach your public profile page. Here, in the section Comments, all your Amazon reviews are listed. To edit or delete a review, tap the three dots in the upper right corner of the review.
In the menu that opens, to modify your opinion, select Edit a comment. To get rid of the notice, choose Delete comment.
Depending on the option you choose, Amazon will allow you to edit or delete the selected review. And that's it, you're done.
Being able to edit your Amazon reviews is really handy because it allows you to update your reviews to reflect your long-term experience using a product. This is a way to help future buyers make informed decisions about their purchases.
