No exposure to food or drink

You probably think you already follow this advice to the letter. But think about all the times you've eaten dinner with your laptop on your lap or worked with a glass of water right next to your keyboard.

Even if you haven't had a food accident yet, chances are you already know someone who has. spilled a glass of soda on his cell phone. Not only will keeping food and drinks as far away from your device as possible limit the risks, but you will also avoid finding crumbs between the keys of your keyboard.

Clean your electronic devices regularly

We use our cell phones, computers, and iPods every day, but how often do we clean them? Studies show that our electronics are a lot dirtier than you might think, covered in dead skin cells and coated in bacteria.

The good news is that cleaning your electronics is easy. by simply wiping them with a damp cloth and antibacterial hand soap soft. According to the CatalogueMate portal, for example, you will find products specifically designed for screens in the latest Texam catalog, from 11,35 euros, as well as a special screen microfibre for less than 10 euros.

Just make sure the cloth isn't wet and only use a tiny bit of product. You can also use antibacterial wipes to clean your electronics.

Store your devices away from all dangers (children, animals, humidity)

If you've ever raised a puppy, chances are you have plenty of anecdotes involving an appliance knocked over or a power cord chewed. Similarly, children can also be threats to your electronic devices.

While gadgets are great for entertaining kids, it only takes a fraction of a second for your child to throw or drop the phone, shattering your screen into a thousand pieces. If you want to let your child play with your phone, consider buying a protective case to prevent this possibility.

Generally, remember to store your devices safely when you are not using them. Not only will this allow you to expose them to direct sunlight or excessively hot temperatures.
