If you haven't been following along, Instagram, the social network based on sharing photos and videos, released a new feature a few weeks ago called " Stories"
A direct competitor to Snapchat, this feature allows users to create compilations of ephemeral photos and videos, which self-destruct after 24 hours.
Unfortunately, this feature is limited to Instagram's mobile app, so it's not possible (in theory) to see these Stories in your computer's browser.
But Chrome users can get around this problem with a handy extension that will allow them to access it in their browser.
To do this, you just need to install the extension Chrome IG Stories in Chrome. Once enabled, you should be able to see the Stories of your friends at the very top from your Instagram feed, exactly like on the mobile app.
If you feel like you want to take the Stories still not appearing after relaunching your Instagram page, you can try the following. If you are already logged into Instagram in your browser, log out and log back in. This should do the trick.
Finally, if you are using an ad blocker (Ad-Blocker) or other, you must authorize the Instagram site for it to work.
And here is the work!
Do you use Instagram Stories? What do you think about this new feature?
