The result is rather explosive... but one thing is certain, if generations of Ottomans must certainly be turning in their graves, the mayor of this city of 350 inhabitants has managed to create quite a buzz!
The buzz was such that on May 10, an act of vandalism was committed on the statue and the telephone was broken... it seems that not all the inhabitants of Amasya appreciated this masterpiece at its true value!
