A few days ago I came across this rather nice infographic which summarises in a fairly concise manner the main points of everything you need to know to go for a stroll on the web… Unfortunately in English, this infographic entitled “ The Grandparent's guide to the Internet » (The Grandparents' Guide to the Internet) is therefore aimed at grandparents and is ideal for trying to explain how to use the Internet to someone who knows absolutely nothing about it.
From the basics of email to using a web browser, all the way to social networks, this infographic is really well done and allows you to take a tour of a "general public" use of the Internet... that's why it's ideal and well designed for grandparents.
Wikipedia, Youtube, Skype, Google and web security are other topics also covered in this infographic. Besides, I think that even if you are a web expert, you will certainly find some little tips that you did not know or some very useful recommendations!
Well, on the other hand, they are mean because I know a lot of grandparents who do very well on the web (hey, mom and dad)... but we get the idea!
