The evolution of the design of Logos can be traced back to ancient Greece. However, the creation of modern logos dates back to the early days of the Renaissance, around the 13th century. Goldsmiths, masons, paper makers and potters were among the first to use marks using gold pressings, chiseled symbols, watermarks on paper and fingerprints on pottery for example.
