The Oktoberfest that ended a few days ago is a real institution across the Rhine. More than a party, it is an opportunity for our Teutonic friends to get together with family around a good pint of beer and to claim their Bavarian heritage!
But who says alcoholic gathering also says lost objects... difficult in the crowd when you have several grams of alcohol in your blood, to keep your feet on the ground and take care of your belongings.
This is how many people forget or lose their belongings on the terrace of a beer garden every year.
The infographic below, produced by Stylight (a fashion and lifestyle specialist based in Munich), focuses on the objects lost by the 6.2 million visitors who drank more than 7.5 million litres of beer during the 2017 edition of the Oktoberfest.
Not only are there a lot of these lost objects, but there is also a lot of rubbish!
