Article updated on December 21, 2025

This is not the first time I have spoken to you aboutInfomaniak, and for good reason! In addition to hosting this site, this Swiss company offers a beautiful range of quality tools. Often free, these services have the enormous advantage of being hosted in Switzerland, far from American alternatives (when they exist) and their insatiable appetite for our data.

Among these tools, I wanted to present to you the very practical — and always free kPaste, which allows you to share messages in a secure et ephemeral.

If you have ever swung a mot de passe or sensitive information on WhatsApp or by email (come on, we've all done it), kPaste is made for you. With it, no more beginner's mistakes: your data remains between good hands, without the risk of hanging around where it shouldn't be.

What is kPaste and why should you use it?

kPaste is a simple online tool for easily share sensitive information without risking that they end up where they have no business. The principle is clear: you write your message directly on the site, it is horn from bout to bout before you even leave your browser, then you get a unique bond to be forwarded to the person concerned.

At each visit, you are entitled to a nice landscape photo...

The advantage? No one, not even Infomaniak, can access the content of your message. Everything is protected by a strong encryption (AES-256-GCM), and only the link allows access to it. No registration, no history, no ads: kPaste does only what you ask it to do, without any frills.

Another strong point: its side ephemeralYou decide how long the message remains available — from 5 minutes to 1 month — and you can activate the mode "burn after reading" so that it self-destructs as soon as it is opened. Perfect for transmitting a mot de passe, an access code or any other confidential information without leaving any traces.

In short, kPaste offers you a quick and easy way to protect your sensitive data, without complicating your life. A habit to adopt to prevent your information from falling into the wrong hands!

  • For even more discretion, activate the option “Delete after first reading” : the message will be automatically deleted as soon as the person you sent it to has viewed it. This prevents it from remaining accessible for too long by mistake.
