We have all at some point in our lives studied the geography of the world, the different countries, the provinces... if some countries seem obvious and easy to position on the map, what about the other countries? The site that I am going to show you today will help you validate your knowledge of the geography of the countries of the world or will allow you to improve! And all this in a fun and free way!
MapPuzzle is a small online game that allows you to position different countries on the world map or different regions of a country. If you liked it Geoguessr, you will love this game too!
MapPuzzle, the geography game to test your knowledge
The principle of MapPuzzle is really simple, but should keep you busy for a while.
On the left of your screen is a list of countries that you will need to select before dragging them into place on the world's map. When you choose a country to position, you will see its shape appear which you must move on the map to the exact location where the country in question is located.

The concept is simple but above the list of countries a counter will measure the time it will take you to position all the countries of the world. In the same place a sort of scoreboard will indicate the number of countries found, those remaining and the number of mistakes you have made!
You will see for yourself, but it is very stimulating to see the map of the world filling up little by little and going from insipid white to a patchwork of colorful countries!
At the top of the map, there are a few options that allow you to change the game language, recenter the map, switch to full screen mode, or access each country's Wikipedia page! You can also reset the game to start a new game.
Also play with regions and provinces of some countries
If you're a country whiz, you can also tackle the provinces and regions of a dozen countries, including France, the United States, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Japan, China, etc.

MapPuzzle is a small, unpretentious geography game, but it has the merit of being 100% free and ad-free. And I have no doubt that you will find something to improve your knowledge of geography.
