Nokia is a reference brand for all those who had their first mobile phone in the late 90s or early 2000s. After lean years due to poor strategic choices, the brand came back strong in 2017 on the smartphone market and continues to make people talk about it today, especially with the Nokia 1.3.
Competition in the smartphone world has been particularly tough in recent years and Nokia wanted to focus on what it has always done well: the entry-level phone combining innovation, robustness and low price!
Thus, the Nokia 1.3 is among the latest from the Finnish brand and has some pretty interesting advantages such as a removable battery or the possibility of adding memory thanks to a microSD card slot.
Obviously, since this is an entry-level smartphone, Nokia had to make choices in order to offer a very attractive price for this smartphone. In terms of photography, for example, the 2 devices (front/rear) offer relatively low resolutions (8 and 5M pixels) which will not allow for exceptional renderings. Similarly, the device has a low-power processor and only 1GB of RAM.
Regarding its operating system, the Nokia 1.3 comes with Android 10 Go Edition and Nokia announces compatibility at least up to Android 12 Go. Android Go is a lightweight version of Android with lighter applications and systems, but optimized for entry-level phones. The idea is to offer a quality user experience, even on less powerful phones.
In terms of design, the Nokia 1.3 is rather elegant with its 3 available shell colors (Cyan, Dark Gray, Sand), but remains very classic in terms of its shape.
