When it comes to editing PDFs, I have a little favorite that I have been using for a long time, and that is:ILovePDF. But regularly I discover online alternatives that are really worth a look. And this is particularly the case with PDFZero!
PDFZero is therefore a 100% free and online tool which will allow you to carry out most of the classic tinkering on PDFs, namely:
- Split: allows the separation of pages of a PDF into as many PDF files as you have pages in your document
- Merge: allows you to merge multiple PDFs into one document
- Rotate: allows you to rotate the pages of a PDF one by one
- Delete: allows you to delete one or more pages in a PDF document
- Zonal OCR: The tool uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology to retrieve text from a PDF file and return it to you in CSV format.
- Mailmerge: interesting feature that allows to automate the filling of PDF forms from a source Excel or CSV file.
- Compress: allows you to reduce the size of a PDF file

Please note that most of these tools are nested within each other… for example, in the page deletion tool you will be able to rotate the pages you want.
Please also note that you can rearrange the order of pages within a PDF document almost anywhere.
When it comes to data security, your documents are permanently deleted after one hour.
In short, PDFZero is a very interesting tool for manipulating PDFs and it has relatively original features such as the ability to extract text via OCR and to fill out forms in PDFs from data from a spreadsheet.
